We will not take any other client from your area during that 90-day window. If you sign a contract within 90 days, the £500 credits against your setup fee — so it isn't lost if you proceed. If you don't, the £500 is retained (it has paid for 90 days of exclusivity) and the area releases back to available.

The 90-day window can be extended by mutual agreement if scoping needs more time and the client is engaged. The deposit is non-refundable in any scenario — that's what makes the exclusivity credible and the practice sustainable.
UK Faster Payment (bank transfer). When you submit the reservation form, our bank details and a unique payment reference (e.g. HCB-XK4N-7QPM) appear on screen immediately and arrive by email. You make the £500 Faster Payment to those details, quoting the reference exactly in the payment reference field. We see the inbound payment in our bank feed (usually within minutes) and use the reference to match it to your reservation. Until the payment clears, the area shows as reserved-pending on the live availability checker — other agencies checking are told it has a pending reservation.

Because territorial exclusivity has a real cost to us. The moment you reserve, we close your area to every other enquiry for 90 days. That means we actually turn away other businesses in your patch — sometimes ones we'd otherwise have signed.
If the deposit were refundable, the reservation would be a free option for you and a real cost for us. Non-refundable aligns the incentives: if you're serious enough to put £500 down, we're serious enough to close your area. If you're not, the area stays open for someone who is.
The £500 credits against your setup fee if you proceed — so the only scenario where it's "lost" is the one where you've changed your mind. That's a fair price for 90 days of exclusivity in our calendar.
All UK areas are in the dropdown — 306 total (England, Wales, Scotland, NI). Reservation works the same way everywhere. Wales (CIW), Scotland (Care Inspectorate) and NI (RQIA) have different regulators to England's CQC; we'll cover the regulatory differences during scoping. The bundle pricing is the same; the compliance configuration is adapted to your nation's regulator.
